The Outdoor Run with Mesh Cover is perfect for protection of baby chicks or your growing flock. This durable and weatherproof enclosure is designed for 2 standard size chickens or 4 bantams, featuring galvanized metal grid, solid wood construction, and a convenient mesh cover that opens on one side for easy access. The outdoor run can be easily moved for convenience and includes a large side door with a metal slide latch. It attaches quickly to Chicken Coops with 4 metal latches (included) and is simple to assemble. Additional dimensions include a mesh door opening of 1.42 ft x 1.83 ft.

12 Day Old Chicks
The day-old chicks need to be kept at a constant 95° their first week, 90° the second week, and so on (reducing 5° per week) until they're five to six weeks old or reach the ambient outdoor temperatures. A 250-watt, red infrared heat lamp suspended over the middle of the brooder is the recommended source for this heat.
